Car-Rep® 2K PU Clear Coat is a crystal clear and very durable polyurethane-based paint. The varnish forms a very hard and UV-resistant surface. The varnish is easy to apply and immediately forms a deep, glossy surface without the risk of run-off. Suitable for use over solvent and waterborne topcoats.
• Dust dries in approx. 20 minutes
• Touch-dry and water-resistant surface in 60 minutes
• Drying time can be shortened by using infrared or oven
• Genuine 2-component varnish
• Resistant to fuel splashes even after drying
• Easy to use, does not run
• Suitable for use over solvent and waterborne topcoats
• Very fast drying times: 15–20 min when using infrared, surface temperature 70 °C / 12 h surface temperature 20 °C
• Excellent durability, good adhesion and long service life
• Quick and easy to use
• Avoid unnecessary post-washing
• Long service life, can be reused if necessary

Instructions:
On top of fresh top coat: Surface must be dry/evaporated before painting.
Original paint surface: The surface must be sanded and cleaned before painting.
• Shake before use
• Test the paint spray on another surface
• 2–3 layers
• Painting distance: 20–25 cm
• Evaporation between layers 3–4 min, final evaporation 10 min
• Drying time: 65–70 °C 30 min, 20 °C 12 h. The drying times apply when using infrared. At full power 15–20 min Surface temperature 70 °C.
Can be overcoated within 24 hours (even after sanding)
• Clean the nozzle by spraying the bottle up and down until only propellant comes out
• Ready for polishing after drying
• Infrared: until the surface cools
• Bake until cool
• 20 °C: 12 h
• Coverage 1.2–1.4 m², film thickness 30 µ (2 layers)
