Car-Rep 2K makes it as easy to use a 2-component primer as a regular air-drying 1-component paint. Unlike traditional solutions, the paint and hardener are pre-mixed inside the packaging, but thanks to a patented solution, the paint does not harden in the printed packaging. Car-Rep 2K is always ready to use, as many times as needed and has a shelf life of several years.
The paint starts to dry immediately when it is sprayed out of the pressure pack. The cross-linking of the molecules provides superior properties compared to conventional air-drying paints. Surface hardness, resistance to chemicals (eg gasoline), adhesion and corrosion resistance are comparable to traditional 2-component paints. In traditional 2-component solutions, the paint and hardener are mixed just before painting, so the lifetime varies from minutes to days.
The paint is suitable for almost all surfaces, metal, aluminium, galvanized metal, copper, chrome, wood, stone, ceramics, glass and most plastics. It can be painted over a previously painted surface.
Car-Rep 2K hardener does not contain isocyanate. The product can therefore be used by both professionals and consumers, as use, marketing and sale are allowed without restrictions (EU-2007/559), unlike most traditional 2-component solutions. Car-Rep 2K is an effective solution for anyone who wants to achieve a high-quality paint finish without complex compressed air equipment, without after-washing and without paint spillage.

• Drying times: dust dry in 20–30 min, touch dry after 40–50 min, dry after 12 h and completely dry after 7 days
• The putty/primer can be sanded after 2–3 hours after painting and can be painted over after 90 min
